Sunday 15th December 2024

Its Christmas in 10 days! Can you believe it. This year has flown by, and December is no exception. We only have 15 more days of 2024 so make the most of it..... ....why not dress up in a Santa suit and do some running!

There were Santa runs left, right and centre this weekend and everyone got involved and wore the outfits!

First off we went to Skegness! First prize was Panto tickets, and first over the line at the Skegness Santa Run was Andy Shelton followed by Phillip Prowse. First lady over the line was Alex South. More importantly, our improvers from the Skegness Site took on their first run and enjoyed the atmosphere it provided. Thank you to Skegness Rotary who put on a fantastic event!

Next up, we went to Lincoln! Kirsty Bolton ran the Lincoln Santa run, and looked very festive running along side her son! A family affair this weekend, as Amy Mitchell and Beth Mitchell ran in the Great Hale Slightly Boozy Santa 10km!

The Santa Runs are fantastic, and at the end of the day, they are they are a fun run to run with family, friends and to raise money for fantastic charities!

Ash Brown ran Sherwood Pines 10km on Sunday Morning and finished 12th out of 265 runners, a fantastic run! It was Ash's first 10km race in over 2 years and really enjoyed it. Well Done Ash!

Big Kudos to Shawn and Sarah Thomas, who again took on the challenge to run a half marathon every month of the year. The best thing about it, is obviously completing the challenge, but bringing together such a big group of runners every month. Opening it up to all and running together, across different sites. They finished their challenge running in Woodhall Spa, and festive attire was present!

Next Week is our last club runs of 2024.

Go out with a bang guys, enjoy the last week of club runs, find those Christmas Lights and have a ball....CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!!

REMEMBER: Our awards night is 28th December!

Keep an eye out to find out who our winners are :D

...ps A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR SADRC CLUB COUPLE BECKI ATKINSON AND STEVEN DOWSE WHO GOT ENGAGED OVER THE WEEKEND!!! Very exciting news, and we cannot wait to see where you run on your respective hen/stag dos...as lets be honest, running will be involved somewhere for sure! C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S!!!
