Its the final couple of weeks of 2023. Can you believe it! Where has this year gone!
Next week, we have our final club runs of 2023, followed by our annual Boxing Day Tradition Run of Old Bollingbroke followed by our Christmas Awards Party on the 28th December!
But before all of that, where have our runners been this week!
Emmajean and Jimmy Hearn traveled down south to race the Richmond Park Christmas 10km! There was no snow, just rain but this didn't stop the dynamic duo! Emmajean finished 2nd in her age category and 19th female in a field of 72. Emmajean crossed the line in 56:27. Jimmy completed the loop just over the 1hr mark in a time of 1:01:04. Excellent running from you both and an enjoyable weekend away in London.
Kirsty Boulton and Sian Matthews went to Normanby Hall to take part in the Rudolph's Revenge night time 10k Trial run! Kirsty ran very well finishing in 1:01:32 aswell as finishing 19th lady and 6th in her age category. Followed by Sian finishing in 1:08:11 who finished 23rd lady and 3rd in her age category! Fantastic results for a race in the dark and off road.
What a fantastic way to get into the Christmas Spirit
Boston Club Site had their Food Bank Run this week and collected a trolley full of goodies to donate to the Boston Community Larder! Thank you for your donations!
